This is the last trip report to the Maldives, a $19,734 value trip for $1,135! If you missed them, my previous posts have all the details.
We spent two nights at the Crowne Plaza near the Hong Kong version of Times Square, using IHG points. Our first night, we went out to dinner with friends, then walked around the Tsim Sha Tsui area…
We got great views of the free nightly light show – they light up buildings choreographed to music!
The next day we headed to the “Ladies Market,” an outdoor shopping experience extraordinaire (I bought four purses/bags)!
Then the tired shoppers got a foot reflexology treatment. These are just walk-in places, no appointment necessary, and OH, it felt good! This revived us enough that we went to the Peninsula Hotel for high tea.
This is where the quartet was playing live music…simply unforgettable!
On our way to the bus station…
Even though it was poor visibility, we went to Victoria Peak via the bus to “see” the lights of the city since it was our last chance.
Back to the rooftop at our hotel…we had a big day!
The view outside our room…
Our last day, shopping at this enormous mall…
Headed home, via Cathay Pacific business class…it was an absolutely amazing trip! (But it’s always good to get home)!
Next up, Key West weekend in April…
Well now – here we are at last and your husband must be a patient man
